Every follower of Christ has been given at least one spiritual gift, a Spirit-empowered ability to serve the church and build others up. This inventory asks forty-two questions to help you discern where your gifting may lie among six core gifts described in Romans 12. The goal is not a label. It is clarity. Your highest scores point you toward where you may serve most effectively and joyfully. Pray as you go.
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."
A readiness to meet practical needs in tangible ways. Those with this gift notice what others overlook, step in without being asked, and find genuine joy in completing the small tasks that ease someone else's burden, often without needing recognition.
A love for understanding biblical truth deeply and communicating it in ways that help others grasp it. Teachers handle Scripture carefully, organize concepts clearly, and are energized by the study itself, not only by the platform.
A capacity to strengthen, comfort, and stir others toward growth. Those with this gift see potential where others see failure, bring hope into difficult moments, and often help people move from discouragement into action.
A practical wisdom for organizing people, resources, and goals to accomplish God's work. Administrators bring order to chaos, hold both the big picture and the small details, and energize a team by aligning the right people with the right tasks.
A heart attuned to the pain of others, expressed through compassionate presence. Those with this gift are safe people for the hurting, drawn to the overlooked, and able to sit with grief without rushing to fix it.
A joyful, Spirit-led readiness to share resources for God's work. Givers steward what they have with future generosity in mind, respond to real needs without needing recognition, and treat all they own as ultimately God's.
This is not a test. There are no wrong answers. The goal is to discover how God has actually gifted you, not how you wish He had.
